  • Opaque deep purple. Voluptuous, with a great deal of youthful intensity, demonstrating primary blue and black fruit characters. An enticing potpourri of bakery aromas – chocolate covered cherries, caramel, spice, coffee bean, boysenberry cream, black cherry, vanilla with hints of bay leaf and tobacco, and wonderful underlying minerality. Amazing balance, long finish, structured tannins, built for ageing. Try this with meatballs in spicy, red tomato sauce or roast duck with cherry sauce.
  • Spring forward a few years to 2020, and Cyprus has joined the ‘’blue wine” craze. Linos Winery, situated in Omodos village, have created Cyprus’ first ever Blue Wine after 4 years of effort - Mediterranean Blu. Catching the colour of the Med in a bottle, Mediterranean Blu is made from 99% Xynsteri and 1% pure grape juice. The grape juice being from both Alicante, an Mataro grapes. There is no artificial colours, as it’s gorgeous and vibrant azure colour pigment is found within the skin of the red wine grapes; anthocyanin. This unique wine is refreshingly sweet, fruity and light at just 12.5% alcohol. Serve chilled to make it a perfect daytime & summer wine. Flavours of berries, raspberries, lychee and citrus. Match the blue of this wine by enjoying it on the beach with friends or poolside on a hot day! For food pairings think light dishes and bites, salads, sushi, and fruits.
  • Bright ruby red color lively and fresh red-berried fruits leap out of the glass… Maraschino cherry and then, scents of pomegranate, mushroom and rhubarb until swamped by a wave of Mataro spice and fruit. A balanced, rich, and full palate. Grainy softened tannins and bright acidity induce immediate appeal and drink-ability. Mousaka or a grilled pork chop are just perfect for this young, fresh red. Proof that entry line reds have improved in quality and are much more drinkable during the summer months since they can be served at 14 to 16C.
  • This is an elegant and a fresh wine, very aromatic on the nose, that has a delicate bouquet with notes of red fruit with citrus in the background. Good balance between sweetness and acidity in the mouth. It is fresh and balanced a beautiful expression of this beautiful fruity vintage. To be enjoyed either on its own as an aperitif or with a starter red pepper salt, stuffed vegetables or goat’s cheese.
  • This Shiraz has a deep black, purple-crimson color that alludes to its aromas of boysenberry, forest floor, mushroom and earthy aromas and all spice as well as flavors of ripe blackberry. It shows layer of black fruit preserves, mocha, toast and spices before finishing with great length. An overall full-bodied wine, the Linos Shiraz is softened by silky tannins and a mouth-engulfing structure that sails on seamlessly to a long, lingering finish. Best with grilled meats especially lamb or grass-fed beef.
  • What is remarkable about this wine is the varietal typicity. The fresh herbal character followed by some grassy and mineral notes on the palate reminded of the region’s characteristics. Bright, light yellow color , the wine displays subtle hints of a lifted floral component as well a voluptuous mouthfeel ,reminiscent of tropical fruit, lemon grapefruit, and a hint of white pepper. It is well balanced, with a fine line of natural acidity and a round full bodied profile that pairs perfectly with seafood, fish, cream based pasta sauces and roast chicken.
